Community Engagement Project Shows Support to Veterans

Location #11620 in Plymouth, MA Stuff-the-Bus First Student Location #11620 in Plymouth, MA held a Stuff-the-Bus event to help homeless veterans living in their community.

Dispatcher Dana Chamberlain organized the successful drive along with her fiancé Michael Delongchamps who himself is a Veteran of Operations Desert Storm.

On December. 2, 2017, the location parked a school bus at Post 40 where team members accepted donations of clothing and other personal hygiene items throughout the day.

The fully-stuffed bus was driven to the New England Center and Home for Veterans in Boston, MA.

“In this country, Veterans should never be homeless,” said Location Manager Joel Coffman. “I am so proud of Dana and my entire team for coming together on this project and working to end homelessness for our Veterans. These fine military Veterans gave so much for this country and the very least we can do is help them during this difficult time in their lives.”
