    Transporting Special Needs Students: Hannah’s Story

    Hannah, a 19-year-old young woman with special-needs, attends a transitions program where she learns skills to help her become more independent. Traveling to and from this program 20 miles away requires that Hannah be on the school bus for extended periods of time. While this can be stressful for a person with special-needs, Hannah has a positive bus ride experience – thanks to her expertly trained First Student driver.
