First Student to Hold Job Fair for Local Cincinnati Locations

CINCINNATI — First Student, Inc., the nation's leader in student transportation, is holding a job fair Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3, where the company will be taking applications from qualified applicants for part-time school bus driver positions and full-time maintenance positions for its Arlington Heights, Spring Grove and Beechmont locations. First Student representatives will be on hand to answer questions and conduct interviews on both days with qualified applicants. Both of the events will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Teamster's Local 100 building, 2100 Oak Road, Evendale, Ohio.

 Driver applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass all background checks and drug screens
  • Have at least three years of driving experience, and
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.

 In addition, applicants must be able to safely transport students in a timely manner and complete all pre- and post-trip shift activities. Applicants should possess a sincere desire to work with the public, follow all traffic and corporate regulations, and meet additional company requirements. 

 Maintenance applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Be able to pass all background checks and drug screens
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or be able to obtain a CDL
  • Have at least two years of verifiable experience and/or education related to diesel mechanic.
