CINCINNATI — The Central New York Association for Pupil Transportation (CNYAPT) named First Student Service Manager Matt Gould of Syracuse its 2012 Technician of the Year. The annual award recognizes a school transportation professional who works to ensure a safe and efficient school bus ride.
“Matt understands the tremendous responsibility parents place in us to safely and securely transport their children to and from school.” said Ty Worrell, First Student location manager. “The award is a testament to his hard work and dedication to make sure our buses are maintained at the highest levels.”
Gould has been a Technician with First Student Syracuse since 2005. He received the award during a ceremony June 13 in Syracuse.
