Four First Student Maintenance Teams Receive ASE Blue Seal of Excellence

September 2, 2012

CINCINNATI — First Student, North America’s leader in student transportation, is proud to recognize four locations whose mechanics recently received the Blue Seal of Excellence certification, given by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

The locations include:

  • Glen Carbon, Ill.
  • Pittsburgh, Pa.
  • Andover, N.J.
  • New Castle, Pa.

“Our commitment to safety and keeping up with current technology trends enabled us to gain this certification,” said Richard Noble, First Student director of quality, training and performance. “Highly skilled technicians are not only a competitive advantage, they factor into our customers’ decision to partner with First Student.”

The ASE was created in 1972 to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service. The Blue Seal of Excellence is the highest certification level given by the organization.

Four additional First Student locations were also inducted into the ASE Blue Seal recognition program earlier this year.

The locations include:

  • Danbury, Conn.
  • Prairie View, Ill.
  • Schaumburg, Ill.
  • Newtown, N.J.
