January 1, 2013

CINCINNATI— First Student in Adrian, Mich. receives high marks for maintaining its buses by achieving a 100% pass rate from Michigan State Police for the school buses serving Adrian Public Schools. The inspections, conducted in November, check the mechanical aspects and the safety features of the school buses to ensure they are safe and operating at top conditions.

“Our team is committed to the safety of the students we transport,” said Sue White, location manager for First Student in Adrian. “We work diligently to ensure our buses are up to our high maintenance standards, and we are proud of the dedication our technicians show each and every day.”

First Student provides 26 buses for Adrian schools. First Student conducts a significant maintenance program throughout the year to confirm the buses are operating at top condition. Each First Student bus follows a stringent daily, monthly and annual vehicle maintenance program. In addition, every driver conducts a multi-point inspection prior to beginning a route by using the latest electronic equipment.

This is the second year First Student in Adrian, Mich. achieved a 100% pass rate from Michigan State Police.
