CINCINNATI, Feb. 10, 2009–First Student, Inc., the leading school transportation provider in the U.S., today announced the acquisition of southern New York-based G&G Bus Service, a privately-owned company established in 1953.
First Student acquired 62 school buses and transferred management of all of G&G’s student transportation contracts. In addition, all 53 people previously employed by G&G, including drivers, mechanics, administrative staff and bus attendants, were transferred to First Student employment.
Customers whose business was transferred to First Student include:
