First Student Awarded Nashoba Regional School District Transportation Contract, Bolton, Mass.
CINCINNATI— First Student, Inc., the nation’s leader in student transportation, has been awarded the contract to provide student transportation for the Nashoba Regional School District in Bolton, Mass., beginning July 1, 2009. First Student is part of Cincinnati-based FirstGroup America, North America’s largest transportation company.
The contract is a two-year agreement, with two, one-year options, which includes the operation, maintenance and management of a fleet of 33brand new vehicles First Student will provide to transport students at seven schools throughout the district. The buses will have some of the industry’s latest technologies, including digital video cameras, the Child Checkmate electronic reminder system, and cleaner running diesel engines that meet the newer, more stringent emissions guidelines.

School buses are clearly the safest way for children to get to and from school, and through this contract, the district can enjoy some of the latest advancements the school bus industry has to offer.”
