First Student Awarded Student Transportation Contract with the Adrian School District in Adrian, Michigan

CINCINNATI— First Student, Inc., the nation’s leader in student transportation, has been awarded the transportation contract for the Adrian School District in Adrian, Mich., beginning July 1, 2009. First Student is part of Cincinnati-based FirstGroup America, North America’s largest transportation company. 

 The contract is a three-year agreement which includes the operation, maintenance and management of a fleet of 24 vehicles that will transport students from schools throughout the district.

All school buses in First Student’s fleet will have high-definition GPS tracking systems by 2010.
