CINCINNATI—First Student, Inc., the nation’s leader in student transportation, has renewed its bus contract with the Terrebonne Parish School District in Houma, La. With the five-year, $7.6 million contract extension, First Student will provide 123 buses to the district as well as perform maintenance on buses owned by the district.
As a part of the contract, First Student will replace several buses with new, air-conditioned models scheduled to arrive this summer.
First Student maintains a long-term relationship with the district. The company has worked with the district for 10 years.
